This evening sees the start of the LOETB Adult League Finals for 2026, with four exciting finals over the next eight days.
Division 2 League Final – Friday 10th July, 7.45pm, Stradbally GAA
On Friday night, Ballyfin and Shanahoe face one another in the Division 2 league final.
The sides met in Round 1 of the league, with Ballyfin coming out on top in a 1-10 to 2-03 win. Since then, Ballyfin had a convincing win over Portlaoise in the semi-final and Shanahoe came out the right side of a tight game with Killeshin.

Division 1 League Final – Saturday 11th July, 7pm, Park Ratheniska GAA
On Saturday evening, St. Conleths and Timahoe meet in the Division 1 final.
A look through the archives shows this is St. Conleths first Division 1 final appearance since 2019, when they defeated against Sarsfields to win their first title. Following plenty of discussion and research, it appears that victory on Saturday evening would secure Timahoe’s first-ever Division 1 title.
In a Round 1 clash, Timahoe emerged six-point winners. Timahoe remained unbeaten in all five round robin games, before overcoming St. Joseph’s in the semi-final. St. Conleths secured victories over Graiguecullen and Sarsfields, before an impressive 4-13 to 1-8 win over Ballyroan in the semi-final.

Division 4 League Final – Monday 13th July, 8pm, Arles Killeen GAA
On Monday evening, Graiguecullen and Timahoe contest the inaugural Division 4 final.
The introduction of a fourth adult league division is a testament to the growth of Laois Ladies football and the work being done by clubs. It also paves the wa for the introduction of a Junior B Championship for 2026.
Timahoe had a narrow four-point win over Graiguecullen in the final group stages to finish second in the standings, while Graiguecullen finished fourth. Graiguecullen then produced an excellent semi-final win over top-of-the-table Killeshin, while Timahoe booked their place in the final after a win against St. Brigid’s.

Division 3 League Final – Saturday 18th July, 5pm, Annanough GAA
Finally, the Division 3 final takes place on Saturday 18th July between Ballyfin and Ballyroan.
Both teams are unbeaten in the league so far, with strong wins over St. Joseph’s and The Heath respectively in semi-finals. Both sides are represented by their club’s second teams, once again highlighting the outstanding development being done at club level to progress and create opportunities for players across the county. This game is sure to go right to the wire!
